Well done to the organisers catering for the 515 finishers and special thanks to whoever handed in the Osprey rucksack.
Sarah Mackenzie will organise a minibus, funded by the club for those LAC members entered for the Carnethy race (entries now closed). Firstly she would like to gauge interest before hiring, if you would like to travel on the bus please contact Sarah A.S.A.P. at [email protected] or give Sarah a call.

A superb performance at Saturdays Devils Burden by the LAC men’s and ladies teams was all the more remarkable considering the tight schedule. With an early alarm, a journey across country, some dodgy weather en route, frozen runners at the roadside and station it could have been a disaster. Credit to our young guns though, Steven Burns and Isla Makay who only had time for a quick photo before they set off on the 1st leg for their respective teams. Steve MacDonald only managed to get his jacket off before starting the 4th leg, lessons learned.
The men’s team finished 5th overall with a combined time of 02:52:31. well done to Steven, Jon, Ruari, Tom, Nick and Steve. The ladies team were 3rd in their category and 33rd overall with a combined time of 03:20:42. Well done to Isla, Diane, Sarah, Edie, Ciara and Marie. 123 teams took part. A special mention for Graham driving the mini bus, getting everyone there and back safely.
