This is a Category “A” hill race so bring bum bag and suitable clothing etc as it may be wet and windy or even misty at the tops.
Approximately 6 miles
Registration Opens: 1.00pm
Start is at: 2.00pm sharp !!!

Race Timing/ IPad Training.
Training for IPad and conventional race timing on following dates-
Tuesday 17th May at Claggan Park as part of a normal training night, for those wishing to help and assist with timing of races in the future, please let us know,
and on Tuesday, 31st May 2016 (at Yacht Club as part of Dinghy/ Hill Race).
If you have your own iPad or iPhone you should be able to Download the free race splitter app from iTunes, to allow you to familiarise yourself with the system.

After many years organising the juniors, Wendy O’Brien is stepping down from her role as the co-ordinator for the junior athletics and Lochaber AC is now looking for some individual or individuals to help fill the role. We would firstly like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to Wendy for everything she has done for the juniors and Lochaber AC. Wendy will be sorely missed.
The role would require some individual or individuals to create a group/team to manage and be the contact for the juniors and their parents on training nights etc.
That person/persons would need to be there on a regular basis, (Could share the posts once or twice a month). They would maintain a register of the juniors attending training, control and operate the waiting list for new junior members, organise the helper’s rota and be the main point of contact for the parents.
They would also be required to book Claggan park in the summer months and request white line painting when necessary. They would sometimes have to set out the park with activities on training nights.
Margaret Rose has been assisting Wendy, in particular with the organising of the junior races, but is now also stepping down and again Lochaber AC is sincerely grateful to Margaret Rose for all her work with the juniors.
This role could also be undertaken by an additional person or within a group/team, which could manage the club juniors.
Any new individuals, wishing to help or become part of a working group/team to manage or just help run the juniors.
Interested parties wishing to take on a position are welcome to change and re-organise junior training as required, including delegating work to others and changing the training nights.
