Any idea why it is called Beinn Bahn. The hill on the map is mount of the something water, whereas ‘the’ Beinn Bhan, as local residents tell me, is that lump behind Ballachulish. Hmm. Thoughts?

    • Richard, the race takes one of the approach routes up to the Corbett at 796m also called Beinn Bhan. The race organiser adding “Bash” obviously feels this rolls of the tongue easier than Monadh Uisge Mhuilinn(whatever), it may also be that his first name is Ben !!
