Just a wee reminder for all you folks, this years Winter League starts on Sunday the 20th November 2016, at 11.00am.
Registration from 10.ooam at Braveheart car park, Glen Nevis.
There is also Junior Race same time and place.
There will also be a raffle at the registration point.
Marshalls/Helpers required we need around 12 Marshalls on the day if you are not running and can help text or contact Niall on 07979604478. Cheers

SCOTTISH ATHLETICS PERMIT EVENT
Sunday 6th November 2016 starting at 12 noon, Lochaber High School, Camaghael, Fort William PH33 7ND
Registration at NEW Venue: Lochaber High School, Camaghael, Fort William PH33 7ND,
FROM 9.30am To 11.00am ON 6th NOVEMBER 2016, where you will be given your race number. The event is hand timed, so you must wear your number on your front and keep it visible during the race and particularly at the finish.
Please note the race will start at NEW Venue Lochaber High School, Camaghael, Fort William PH33 7ND, The race will be run on a public road for the first mile and a half and then runners will be directed onto the foot/towpath of the Caledonian Canal at Banavie. Runners will then follow the Canal foot/towpath for approximately 5 miles. Runners will then be turned and directed to follow the same route back to the start at Lochaber High School. The Canal foot/towpath is a good surface to run on but it is not a tarmac surface. The surface is a rolled lime surface. Runners will also require to run on the left at all times to ensure they pass each other easily and safely. A route map will be uploaded to our website (www.lochaberac.co.uk) in due course.
There will be one water Station covering the route at Approximately 3 miles on way out and 9 miles on way back.

Entry Cost £22.00 for (non Sal members), £20.00 for ( Sal members).
*** There is NO Entry on the day for this race, it is Online Entry Only And Entries Extended to Midnight Friday 4th November, and those that have entered, Registration is between 9.30AM and 11.00AM on race day***
PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY AND NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. SUBSTITUTIONS WILL BE PERMITTED BUT ONLY UP TO MIDNIGHT 28TH OCTOBER 2016 AND MUST BE DONE THROUGH Si ENTRIES. ANYONE WHO HANDS THEIR NUMBER TO SOMEONE ELSE WITHOUT USING THE SUBSTITUTION PROCESS THROUGH Si ENTRIES WILL BE BANNED FROM FUTURE EDDIE’S HALF MARATHONS.
Declaration – I declare by ticking and entering that I am physically fit and fully understand that I enter at my own risk and that the organizers shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury which I may suffer. I will be 17 years of age or over on race day. I agree to abide by the rules of Scottish athletics and any instructions given to me by the Police, race organisers or any marshals.

Club is putting on a Minibus to take a maximum 14 Passengers plus Driver, and bags.

Those that have booked accommodation with Nancy, money will be collected on the bus, £18 per person for Thurs, and £20 per person for Friday and £20 per person for Saturday night.
